JROTC Bruins Excel at National Championships

6 November, 2021 – Molena, Georgia
The Central Hardin Army JROTC Bruins concluded their Raider season by traveling to Molena, Georgia, for the Army National Raider Championships on 6-7 November. The top Raider teams from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee were selected to represent the 7th Brigade. Teams from all across the country competed in the 5 challenging events which include the Gauntlet, 5K Mountain Run, One Rope Bridge, Physical Team Test and Cross Country Rescue.
The Co-Ed and Male teams finished as the top Kentucky school in all 5 events. Central Hardin was led by eight seniors: Clayton Hockman, Brandon Robb, Samuel Sexton, Jill Willingham, Cameron Barnes, David Brooks, Jack Haley, and Cris Romero. The team’s regular season record of 37-5, along with the previous 3 years, gives the seniors a 4 year career record of 167-14. The team had a great experience and look forward to next year.
