Juniors at Central had the opportunity to go down to the gym during second period to take part in a mock pep rally of sorts.

The opportunity comes with the Central vs. North game being named WHAS11’s Game of the Week, which is sponsored by Papa Johns.

The Game of the Week is voted for on the channel’s website.

The junior class was afforded the opportunity due to their success in winning the spirit stick. They were joined by the Central Hardin cheerleaders, wind ensemble, and football team.

Head Girls’ Basketball Coach Kristina Covington-Jones, AKA “Ko-Jo,” led the students in numerous chants.

This was all done to create a fun atmosphere leading up to the game Friday night.

Senior night will begin at 6:45 and the game will start at 7:30. Regular tickets are $5, but students can get them for $2 if they get them from the office before the end of the day tomorrow.
