When she grows up, she plans to be a Civics/Economics teacher here at Central Hardin High School. Here, she shares her perspective on the holiday season.

Christmas is a time of joy and celebration, where people gather with their loved ones to spread cheer and happiness. It is a time when people take a break from their daily routines and come together to celebrate the birth of the savior of the world, Jesus Christ.

Festive decorations, colorful lights, and the warmth of the fireplace mark the holiday season. Families come together to exchange gifts, share stories, and indulge in delicious food. The spirit of Christmas is infectious, and it brings people closer to each other. It is a time when strangers become friends and when people come together to spread joy and happiness.

But what about those who don’t have the money for the decorations, or a family to spend time with? What about those who have lost loved ones? The holiday season may be difficult for those people.

Everyone deserves to feel Christmas cheer; regardless of race, religion, home life, etc. So next time you see that kid that you don’t like, or that teacher that gets on your nerves, consider telling them “happy holidays!” or ask how their day is going. You never know what that person may be going through. Kind words can go a long way, and are often what people remember forever.

Overall, Christmas is a time of love, kindness, and generosity. It is a time when people come together to celebrate life and its blessings. The holiday season reminds us to be grateful for what we have and to spread happiness wherever we go. So, let us all come together this Christmas and spread cheer and joy to those around us.

Merry Christmas to all! Feliz Navidad! Joyeux Noël! Crăciun Fericit! Merīkurisumasu! Felicem Natalem Christi!
