Cici Hicks, Writer
Hello! I’m Cici Hicks, a sophomore and it’s my second year on The Central Times staff. I was fortunate to join the staff as a freshman, which only further ignited my passion for writing, something I’ve always wanted to pursue.
I am thankful for the support and guidance from the 2023-2024 staff who have helped me become the writer I am today.
Aside from writing, I enjoy listening to and playing music, as well as watching films. Music is a huge and favorite part of my life, whether I’m listening to my favorite bands like The Beatles, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The Smiths, or playing my guitar, which I picked up about three years ago.
Representing the voices of my fellow students at Central is something that I’m incredibly passionate about, and I’m genuinely excited to continue doing so as a part of the staff this year!
