After sharing his January challenge for students last week, principal Tim Isaacs set out with his bucket during PowerHour to gather what donations he could for a Bruin who is having serious health problems. Although the person’s privacy is being honored and a name is not being shared, students and faculty rose to the occasion.

“Thank you to all who donated on Thursday or Friday,” Isaacs said.  “In just two collection days we raised nearly $1,400 for our family in need.   A few of you mentioned needing a few days, and while I won’t be going door-to-door, the need will be ongoing.  So if you see me and still want to help, just let me know and I will get it to the right place.”
