Friday nights have been quiet over the last few months. Last Friday night, however, the Bruin Den was packed for the first home game of the season.

The Bruins wasted no time getting onto the scoreboard with a 4-yard touchdown pass from Zakery Spurrier to Carter Robinson.

Afterwards, Terry Brooks made a 21-yard run to find the endzone and give the Bruins a 14-0 lead.

Mason Thompson also added another two touchdowns before halftime. Sending the Bruins to the locker room with a lead of 27-0 over the Bears.

Towards the end of the 3rd, Terry Brooks made a 33-yard rushing touchdown to bring the Bruins to their winning score of 34-0.

However, the touchdowns weren’t the only highlights of the night.

Sophomore and quarterback, Zakery Spurrier did not disappoint Friday night, throwing a 51-yard pass to teammate Trey Williams.

With this win, the Bruins remain undefeated in the regular season with a 2-0 record.

They will remain at home this Friday, hosting Apollo at 8 p.m.
