A new event for seniors has been in the works of being formed. It’s a game titled “Senior Assassin” organized by one of our fellow seniors, Jordan Stieve.
This game has been played in the past, by the senior class of 2022, but this year it is being brought back.
When scrolling through social media last year, Stieve came across the idea of the game.
“These seniors would get water guns and wait outside people’s houses or people’s work and then shoot them with water guns. I thought that would be such a fun thing to do,” Stieve said.
The game consists of you and a partner of your choice, being assigned to another set of partners, that are your targets for the entirety of the game.
You and your partner’s mission is to hunt your target down and shoot them with a water gun. There are places that will be off-limits during this game, though.
You are not allowed to do this during school or any school-related events, as well as while someone is at their place of work.
Anywhere else is free game.
You do have to have evidence that you have squirted a person so that it is fair. A picture or video needs to be shown or sent to Stieve in order to gain credit.
A poll will be displayed on the Instagram that Stieve has made for the game, in order to keep everyone updated on what is happening, as well as to come to a conclusive decision on how people will know where everybody is located. This is so people can plot when they plan to attack and make the game more fun and efficient.
The poll will ask students if they prefer everyone included to be on a Life360, or if everyone will turn on their SnapChat locations.
In order to win the game, you have to shoot at least one out of the two sets of your partners four times or more. You are granted immunity twice against your rivals if you are wearing floaties and/or goggles.
You have to pay a $5 fee in cash to her. The winners of the game will receive all the cash that was given combined.
Senior Assassin will take place on Sunday, September 17 – 24.
Stieve encourages everyone to join and play. She believes it will be one of the last times we as a class can get together before we all move on with our lives.
“It’s bringing us all together for the last time,” Stieve said.
