Hello, my name is Eli Thompson and I am a writer for the Central Times. This is my second year on the staff and I plan on continuing to write about sports of all different types. I plan on recognizing the many outstanding athletes here at Central Hardin as well as the many athletes around the world.
My future plans are to go to college for Sports Journalism/Sports Broadcasting and then to become a sports broadcaster for ESPN. I want to work for ESPN because I love talking about sports and I feel becoming a sports broadcaster will be a job I will enjoy and succeed at.
Sports are something I've felt connected with and something that brings me happiness and comfort. Without sports, I would have nothing to fulfill my time. I am excited to be a sports writer for the Central Times and feel free to chat with me about any of my future articles.
