Ever feel the need to just rant about a complaint? Or rave about something good?
The Central Times staff has created a new opportunity for you to do just that.
Outside Ms. Sherrard’s room (B119), you’ll see a desk set up with forms for our new “Bruin Banter” feature, where you get to share your voice.
As long as comments are not offensive or libelous (written defamation of character), your student reporters will publish them on The Central Times site.
If you’d like to do this via Google form instead, HERE is the link. Read on for a collection of Bruin Banters.

Could you possibly include the soccer team? I play on it, and we have put in hours of hard work and give the school a good reputation.

Oh, PowerHour, PowerHour, Where Art Thou?
Submitted Oct. 21 — Anonymous
I am writing to formally express my concern regarding the status of Power Hour, which was expected to begin following fall break. As of now, there has been no implementation or official update, which has led to confusion and disappointment among students. Furthermore, there has been a noticeable lack of communication regarding the revisions and ideas being considered for Power Hour. Students have not been informed about the progress, timeline, or any decisions being made, despite prior assurances that changes were underway. This absence of transparency makes it difficult for us to plan accordingly and undermines the trust built around this initiative. I respectfully request that the administration provide a clear update on the status of Power Hour, including any anticipated changes and a projected timeline for its roll-out.

I really, truly wish that the vending machines were open all day…. but I understand why they can’t due to the law restricting schools from opening them before a certain time. We can’t include links in the comments, but if you look up your question, you’ll find the state law. Hope this helped 🙂
