Attention Bruins!

The Central Times staff has been working on a special edition since before Spring Break, and we are excited to announce that it will be here in our building on May 11.

After going online in 2018, the Class of 2021 wanted to publish something that you can hold in your hands. They decided to call this publication Magnified (idea credit to 2021 alum Lindy Dale) because they wanted it to be a closer look at a topic chosen by the staff each year. Here are the themes over the years:

2021: The Best Stories from Our Site

2022: Resurgence (Bouncing Back from the COVID Pandemic)

2023: A Teen’s Trio of Temptation (Substance, Self-Image, Social Media)

2024: An Ode to Our People

2025: High School 101

This year’s theme? BRUIN BEST.

This is a 40-page, all-color collection of some of Central’s “hidden gems,” the people and groups that may not get the attention they deserve, the ones who have talents and qualities that need to be celebrated. We could never come close to giving all the attention that is deserved in this school, but this is our effort in putting a few of them in the spotlight. Take a look at the attached Table of Contents to find out what peers and teachers will be featured.

To pre-order for $3.00, you can purchase online, using the QR code on the flyer, which is the same as THIS LINK.  To purchase in person, you can bring cash to Room B119. Starting May 11, you can purchase a copy for $5.00 at lunch or in Room B119.
