Maggie Phelps, Writer, Editor-in-Chief
Hey! My name is Maggie Phelps and I am a senior at Central Hardin this year. This is my third year on the Central Times staff and it’s a bittersweet moment. I am so happy and proud to be a writer for this student publication but it also brings feelings of sadness as it is my last year on the paper.
I plan on embracing everything that my last year has to offer. I plan on writing about the amazing students at Central Hardin and their niche talents to contribute to the diversity of our student body. I love writing about music, pop culture, politics, and local events that effect our daily lives. I strive to always create an inclusive and loving environment through my writing and that it brings that students of Central Hardin closer together.
You can ALWAYS find me at a concert, there’s nothing like supporting live music and your favorite artist! I also love coffee, reading, hanging out with my friends, supporting local shops, dancing, and more. Some of my favorite shows are Gilmore Girls, Friends, and New Girl and some of my favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, When Harry met Sally, and more.
I am an active member of Pep Club, Y-Club, and Beta Club. I am the communications director of Executive Council, reporter of Earth Club, Media Relations Coordinator for Young Democrats, and sound tech crew for Drama Club.
